Inspired by the Lyonel Feininger (1871-1956) painting Vogel Wolke or 'Bird Cloud'

I fabricated a steel base for the legs to attach to the main vertical support. The piece was constructed with Birch plywood, utilizing traditional (glueless) joinery methods for slotting the planes and PVC colored panels.

I was inspired by Cubist painting and attempted to reconfigure the 2-d work into three dimensional space.
